Sig Sauer Silencers are up to their old (awesome) tricks. Using the standard SRD556 suppressor as a building block, their all-titanium and quick-detach SRD556Ti-QD unit is something to behold. By utilizing a muzzle device to attach the can to its 5.56mm rifle host, this silencer provides extreme durability to the end-user. If maneuverability and sturdiness are important traits of your 5.56mm suppressors, the SRD556Ti-QD is your huckleberry.
Although the name “Sig Sauer” is somewhat new to the silencer manufacturing niche, the New Hampshire-headquartered team brings a wealth of cutting-edge designs and ideas to the industry. With Kevin Brittingham (founder of Advanced Armament Corporation) holding the reigns, we expect more revolutionary units to be on the market soon.
Conveniently fashioned for 1/2×28 threads to match the vast majority of modern .223/5.56mm rifles on the market, the Sig Sauer designers placed an emphasis on versatility when creating this suppressor. To that end, its compactness (6.8” short; 11.8 ounces light) merely reiterates the SRD556Ti-QD’s maneuverability. This can jumps off the page. And with that price tag, its value is obvious! Reward yourself.
The SRD555Ti-QD’s are not rated for full auto use or use on a short barreled 5.56 platform. Semi-auto use on barrels 16 inches or longer is required.
